AngelList covers fund and investor operations where official records and approved account scope matter. The documented AngelList Link MCP is a read-oriented access path with OAuth. An agent that is authorized to read particular funds can help prepare a limited export; the existence of that connection does not grant a second application access to every investor or document.
A useful first coexistence case is the partner meeting’s unresolved fund question. Keep the authoritative administrator statement in its original system. Upload a permitted copy or approved structured extract into Uranus, record the exact as-of context, and assign the reconciliation question with an owner and deadline. Preserve any uncertainty in the decision rather than treating copied numbers as independently audited facts.
Investor information deserves a particularly narrow export scope. Select only the records required for the review and verify that the team receiving them has authority. Source-system read access and target-workspace visibility are separate decisions. Uranus includes an AngelList guide and generic import mapping. It does not connect directly to AngelList Link in this release, execute capital calls, send investor notices, or replace administrator books.
A first import you can review
- For eligible GP reporting, download the accountant-reviewed workbook from Accounting Dashboard.
- Keep Fund Summary, BS, SOI, IS, SOC, CF, IRR and LP_inception tabs with the same report date.
- Alternatively connect AngelList Link in an approved agent client, request only entitled records, then review the proposed transfer before importing.
What Uranus adds today
Review the mapping, units, currency, and reporting month before committing. New metrics remain candidates until a workspace owner reviews them. Preserve originals and source identifiers, keep the requested next evidence visible, and attach a reviewed resolution when the work is complete. Export canonical records and version history when you need to move the work again.
This is a proposed workflow based on public documentation, not a paid-account benchmark or a demonstrated performance improvement. Verify the actual entitlement, export schema, and effective permissions with the firm’s administrator. Native formats require customer fixtures before claiming automatic compatibility.
