Attio is a flexible CRM for relationship records, pipelines, and configured workflows. Its developer platform also supports agents and integrations. Uranus should be assessed as an additional VC operating workflow, rather than as the first place a firm can use AI with its CRM.
A practical starting point is an authorized company roster from a deliberately configured view. Attio’s view export includes the selected visible attributes and filters. Enriched data is excluded from exported data, while manually supplied data is included. Preserve record identifiers and review relationship references before moving the file. Export controls can also depend on enterprise administration.
Uranus additionally implements a bounded Attio company-read adapter. A workspace owner stores an authorized token encrypted on the server, triggers a read, and reviews staged data before import. It reads one page of up to 100 companies. The connection becomes verified only when that customer’s request succeeds. Workspace API keys must not be advertised as user-level OAuth permission enforcement. This release has no scheduled Attio sync or writeback. The proposed value is connecting CRM context with source-reviewed portfolio metrics, owned follow-ups, and decision history; demonstrate that value in the firm’s actual workflow.
A first import you can review
- Configure a table view with the intended visible attributes, filters and record identifiers. Save filters for everyone before export.
- Choose Import / Export > Export view as CSV or Excel. Export each relevant object/list separately.
- Review missing enriched cells, relation references and permissions before importing.
What Uranus adds today
Review the mapping, units, currency, and reporting month before committing. New metrics remain candidates until a workspace owner reviews them. Preserve originals and source identifiers, keep the requested next evidence visible, and attach a reviewed resolution when the work is complete. Export canonical records and version history when you need to move the work again.
This is a proposed workflow based on public documentation, not a paid-account benchmark or a demonstrated performance improvement. Verify the actual entitlement, export schema, and effective permissions with the firm’s administrator. Native formats require customer fixtures before claiming automatic compatibility.
